1.5.3 Schedule for Price Changes
The deadline for updating the supplier's price changes (new prices) is the 20th of each month, with the prices being valid starting from the 1st of the following month (price start date).
The supplier's price changes must be registered and approved by the supplier within the deadline so that new prices are made available in NOBB according to the NOBB schedule.
It is crucial that you check your agreement with your customers about when prices must be registered in NOBB, i.e., how many days before the prices become effective.
Example:
There is an agreement between the supplier and wholesaler/retailer that the supplier has 30 days' price notice. The timeline for new prices effective from April 1st would look like this:
February 20th: The latest deadline for the supplier to register and approve a new price with a start date of April 1st.
February 22nd: NOBB users retrieve new prices.
April 1st: The new price takes effect.
The table below shows the deadlines for price updates (independent of the year):
Supplier updates price no later than (by the 20th) | Updated prices are available for download | New price can apply from | New price can apply from (if the supplier's customers require an update in NOBB 30 days before the price is effective) | Number of days before the price is effective (check what the agreement says about the number of days) |
