1.2 Business rules for an Item

For items in NOBB, the following rules apply:

• The item must have all mandatory fields completed.

• All text fields must contain valid characters (see separate overview)

• The item must be associated with an approved module

• The module and NOBB product group must match the item

• The supplier must be the owner of the module the item belongs to

• The item must have at least one packaging with packaging class F. The exception is Display items, which must have at least one packaging with packaging class D-pak.

• The item must have an approved product image. The exception is if the item is a Special item.

• Item types Standard item, Composite items, and Display must have a NOBB index price registered (for NOBB Total subscription)

• The product group in which the item is registered may have a PSE (price comparison unit). In such a case, the price unit for the item should match the PSE for the product group.

Item types Display and Composite items cannot be changed after the item is published (active).
