1.5 Index Price Rules for NOBB Total Channel

Prices in NOBB are referred to as NOBB prices (or NOBB index prices) and are the supplier’s gross price before discounts to the supplier's customers, e.g., in trade.
NOBB price should be exclusive of VAT and linked to the item's price unit in NOBB. Currency is specified at the supplier level and inherited down to all the supplier’s prices.

By suppliers registering prices in NOBB, significant savings can be achieved in the value chain for maintaining item registers, price calculations, and ensuring the prices are updated at the right time.

Rules for Prices (for items in NOBB Total Channel):

  • All Standard items, Displays, and composite items must have a price registered in NOBB for the item to be approved and made available for sale.

  • All goods from alternative suppliers (price givers) must have a price.

  • Special items and Service items can have a price, but it is not required.
