1.4.5 Deregistration of Packaging with Class D-, T-pak, and UDEF-pak
Deregistration of packaging is done by specifying the date in the "Available to" field for the packaging.
The first packaging (F-pak) cannot be deregistered and replaced by a new one; only D-pak, T-pak, and UDEF-pak can have an "available to" date.
Packaging can be deregistered if:
The quantity in the packaging changes
The packaging type is discontinued by the supplier
Another packaging type replaces an existing packaging
The unit the packaging consists of changes
The packaging available to date must be set at least 4 days ahead.
It is allowed to use the same packaging type on two packagings if the use of from/to dates on the packagings does not overlap. This means an item can have two packagings with the same packaging type and class, where the new packaging replaces the one with the "until" date.
If the old packaging is replaced by a new packaging with the same packaging type, the new packaging should be created with the "available from" from the day after the old packaging expires.
