1.8.5 Guidelines for Secondary Text

The Secondary Text – Additional Information – is used to provide relevant supplementary details about a product. This field is used together with Primary Text and Digital Channel Text.

The Secondary Text is not mandatory and is used only when there is a need for additional product information.

Rules for Secondary Text – Additional Information

  • The text must not exceed 35 characters.

  • The text will automatically be saved in uppercase letters.

  • Only valid characters may be used.

Recommendations for Secondary Text – Additional Information

  • The text should be written in Norwegian.

  • Avoid repeating information already included in the Primary Text.

  • Abbreviations used in the Primary Text or Digital Channel Text may be written out in full in the Secondary Text, if there is a need to clarify the abbreviation.
