2.7.2 D-Pak – Retail Packaging

  • This unit is often used as an ordering unit between the trade and supplier, and consists of multiple F-paks (e.g., a carton).

  • D-pak must always consist of F-pak.

  • It is possible to register multiple D-paks for an item, e.g., if the supplier offers both a box and a carton.

  • D-pak base is the natural bottom/underside of the packaging.

  • Height: The height extends from the base. Measured in millimeters.

  • Length: The longest side of the D-pak base. Measured in millimeters.

  • Width: The shortest side of the D-pak base. Measured in millimeters.

  • D-pak should not be measured unless it is in good, original condition.

  • Weight: Gross weight, including dry and undamaged packaging. Measured in kilograms.
