Industry EPD

These are EPDs developed, for example, by an industry association on behalf of a group of manufacturers—such as various producers of mineral wool insulation. This type of EPD does not reflect the specific advantages or disadvantages of individual manufacturers.

Currently, whether an EPD is an industry EPD or a product-specific EPD is not information provided through our API, so users cannot distinguish if the data originates from product-specific or industry EPDs. For this reason, we have chosen to only accept product-specific EPDs.

It is also worth noting that environmental schemes like ECOproduct do not use industry EPDs.
